When Blizzard Will Launch World Of Warcraft Classic
The World of Warcraft Classic is one of the most talked about projects from Blizzard's development studios. It's exactly what it sounds like it's an homage to the old edition of World of Warcraft, when times were simpler and expansion packs were nil. The company revealed the date for the release of the vanilla server at this year's BlizzCon.
During the BlizzCon opening ceremony (via Gamespot), it was announced that World of Warcraft Classic will be launching next year in the summer of 2019 for PC gamers. You don't need to pay anything extra if you already have an account for World of Warcraft. So premium subscribers get to play it for absolutely free.
A demo is accessible to all BlizzCon ticket holders to assist players in getting back into the game, and also to take notes, build up feedback, and give feedback on performance, stability , and other features. This applies to both virtual and physical tickets. There's no need to worry about appearing in person at the event or having logged into livestream.
You'll be able to jump into the demo and play-test the various character classes up until level 19. You won't however be able start from the beginning. You can only stretch your class's legs to four levels since the classes are set at the level 15. It will still give you access to the traditional class structures of the original World of Warcraft. The demo will be playable beginning today and running until November 8th, which means you'll only really have one week to enjoy some game time with the re-release of the original MMO.
Gamespot has revealed that the demo has an hour limit of 60 minutes and a 90 minute cool down period. This is to ensure that servers are operating at a constant pace. It's not possible to play the demo on a server all day. You'll be allowed to play for a couple of hours each day. azov.tv Some people may not be happy, but it's to ensure that the servers don't get overloaded during the testing of demos. Additionally, you are able to play the Battle for Azeroth if you really need a WoW fix for the interim.
It's an old-fashioned re-release of the game, there are some new features being added in, including Battle.net's social support, as well as other features of quality of life that relate to display options and graphics. It's mainly a throwback to the classic WoW experience.
It was born out of a strong desire and inclination of over one million players who wanted to play classic World of Warcraft. It was originally created from the Nostalrius Begins Legacy Server, which was home to more than 800,000. Players before Blizzard shut the server down. Former World of Warcraft developer Mark Kern attempted to broker an agreement between players and Blizzard by getting the company to reconsider releasing a classic vanilla version of the popular MMO and it turns out that Blizzard was willing to compromise.
If you don't get in on the demo this month, you can look for the full World of Warcraft Classic launch to take place next summer.
